Apparently many game publishers really hate us Europeans for no reason and sets the prices so that they simply take the US dollar price and slaps it with the euro sign so hard you can feel it.

That's cause it's easier to change a symbol then to check the currency difference.

GOG is pretty proud of its "because 1€ is not $1" policy. It's an ethical choice that virtually no one else will ever make, unless they are forced to at gunpoint by a consumer association.

It's one of the reasons why I'm avoiding PAL region here... you might say "but PlayStation is region free", but don't forget that your DLC isn't region free. Of course, that's only Sony - let alone other consoles.

I really hope this gets some serious attention.

It's pretty stupid, but since I buy most of my games for less than 20 euros, I personally can't really be bothered. Besides, I'm already a hopeless Steam fanboy. I cannot be saved.

A Euro is 1 Euro. It is just most if not all people cannot be Arsed about the exchange rate. Or people in U.S.A would not give a Rat's Ass about the Exchange rate. instead of a rats Arse.
