Is there a noticable difference between the elite's 1080p HDMI and the normal 720p?

I was orginally going to buy an elite but I have heard that you can upgrade a premiums hard drive to 60gb or 120gb, is this true?

Yes there is a difference, but the thing is, mostly all, except for a few xarcade gamesare even in 1080p, they are in native 720p, so it will kind of be like upscaling, and a lot of people don't think it looks very nice. Actually, a lot of games aren't even in 720p, they are at 640p.

Correct. The vast majority of 360 games are native 720p, so you're looking at upscaling no matter what you do.

Upscaling just makes the aliasing less noticeable on large screens. Ideally, you want to play games in their native resolution.

If you have a 1080p TV, it's got a built-in upscaler. Pop in a DVD, and it upscales from 480p to 1080p. Chances are that you're already used to seeing much of your video source upscaled already.
