2010 best year of gaming?

none of those games are top games that will be remembered nor best selling titels, starcraft 2 and mass effect 2 > those games but i still think 2009 > 2010

Indeed, it's been a great year of gaming. Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach, and others have combined to make this a really good year for gaming.

2004-2007 were probably the best years for gaming for me.

FIFA 11, Fallout New Vegas, Medal of Honor, the games released this year are insane. The sales are skyrocketing up the charts, and lets not forget Black Ops which will probably be number 1 Serpenthrone

But a great year nontheless.

It's been a great year. Dead Space, Fallout 3, GTA IV and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 made 2008 my favourite year though.

In any case no it's not, at least not for me. For this gen 2008 gets the crown, although 2009 was good too. Best year happened back in the 90's..again just opinion.

IMO, the best year of gaming so far this century. There were some amazing years before the 2000s.

for me 2010 has been the best year for video games in a long time. super mario galaxy 2, bayonetta, sin & punishment 2, vanquish, metroid: other m, and those are just my favourites. there are many others that people love.

imo, no.

I prefer to look at gaming legacies based on the the generation. This generation is still second place to last generation to me. This gen seems very over hyped and recycled. Although the further we get into this generation the more I am liking it.

The past 2 years have been pretty bad, although Drakensang was a welcome surprise.

Meh, it's been a pretty mediocre year. Thank the lord for God of War 3, Red Dead Redemption, and Vanquish. I would have written this year off as terrible without them.
