EA MMA, Fallout New vegas, Costume Quest, and Lost Planet 2. All in the 7s.

Im surprised all these games arent so hot, they're not bad, but not great either. Well, meat boy could be good.

If you're going to make a thread like this, PLAY the games first! And 7's are not bad scores.

One's competing against another more popular brand, one is a game that's really just more of the same thing as its predecessors only with bigger bugs and I'm not referring to the giant insects, the other is a cute downloadable title that is a fun game for the family that's simple and a little bit on the short side. In other words, just because they got a low score here on Gamespot doesn't mean they're terrible games. Except for maybe the last one you mentioned. That was awful, I give you that.

7 May not be good to you, but it may be decent to the next person. So unless you played them all, this thread is highly irrelevant.

You really have no idea what you are talking about.

MMA has gotten some stellar reviews and is currently holding a Metacritic ranking of 80. Most critics agree its as good if not better than UFC 2010, which was a pretty damn good game as well.

Also, Fallout NV currently holds a ranking of 84 on metacritic, meaning that the critical consensus is that the game is an 8 or above.

At least New vegas can get patched, as there isn't really noteworthy gameplay flaws from my understanding

You should probly play games before you make this sort of thread. EA MMA is an excellent game if you like MMA, and it got good reviews also. FNV is pretty buggy but it still got pretty good reviews, and so far I'm loving it. LP2 was just pathetic though. When did 7's become bad scores?

But your saying this without playing them, I say play them before saying they are good/bad or above average...your basing this on other peoples opinions and not your own.

Fallout has gotten good reviews overall. Some just docked points because of the bugs (which will hopefully be patched soon).

Just because they didn't do so well critically doesn't make them bad games. Fallout NV may be really buggy, but it is apparently a good role-playing game.

I'm really enjoying Fallout New Vegas, and despite being skeptical I tried Lost Planet 2, after already playing Mario Galaxy 2, Red Dead Redemption, Split/Second, Alan Wake, so it was last on my May list but I loved it, I also tried Dante's Inferno after exhausting everything and just like other borderline games getting so-so reviews I quite enjoyed it. I enjoyed games like this more than some highly rated games.

Wierd EA MMA is a better first effort than UFC09 was, New Vegas surpasses Fallout 3 with ease, Costume Quest so far seems very fun and a nice treat for halloween.

Look how everyone jumps to their own conclusion without reading. I Never said these games did bad, or are bad. Just saying I expected one of them to do a bit better critically.

Actually, the critical consensus is that the games you mentioned, save Lost Planet 2, are all reviewing very well. Both MMA and Fallout: NV are averaging scores in the mid to low 8's so your initial post is completely wrong.

You know, I find it funny that the PC version of Lost Planet 2 got a better review and score from Gamespot than the console versions did. Guess the PC version made a huge impression out of Kevin VanOrd.
