5 PS4 Games Every Gamer Should Own

Didn't know Hitman was so highly regarded.

Hitman has just killed any credibility that list had.

For those who didn't want to support the ad bait but are curious on the list-

• Bloodborne
• Uncharted 4
• The Last of Us
• Hitman
• The Witcher 3

Now how do I phrase this. . . "5 PS4 games every gamer should own" No!

When you make a list that apparently panders to all gamers (or most). You do not assume personal taste reflects the masses. Not to mention, is this list dated? I dunno. . Seems odd.

How is an episodic mini series a must own, especially a Stealth game? It's not, Overall average reviews and Gamespot giving it a 7 also questions its high rank on the list. 7 is a very good score, but then Disgaea 5, one of my favorite PS4 games got an 8, and great reviews. However, it's not a must own for every gamer, as I'd take into consideration Tactical RPGs are not for everyone. Let alone the overall theme. Hitman also reflects this, add to the fact it's a less well recieved game/ mini series that some may consider a cash-grab.

Moving on. Even though I'm not a big Naughty Dog fan post U2. TLoU and U4 make sense, most gamers are enticed with graphics and story. So thumbs up for that, though the description for both is a bit misleading.

The Witcher 3 is another slight thumbs up, as most gamers probably will like this game. Despite horrible input lag and screen tearing. PS4 version is certainly not the definitive version, so why you didn't pick a more well optimised game on the platform is staggering? Though, as stated I'm sorta in agreement on TW3, as it's got great graphics and great cinematic stories.

And finally I just don't agree on Bloodborne. Even though it's my personal favorite on your list, that game is not for everyone. And in many cases is considered inferior to Dark Souls III, which has superior pacing, content and multiplayer options. BB however has inconsistent difficulty spikes, less areas than past FROM RPGs, bad PvP, and morbid themes that'll put off most gamers you eat umbilical cords to fight the true last boss

If this was your article TC? A good hint. consider the platform and what most people would like. With well made exclusives like 3D platforming Tearaway: Unfolded and Ratchet and Clank running so well on PS4 why didn't they replace say Bloodborne and Hitman? Then consider the recent success that is D00M (FPS being the biggest genre in the industry).

This list came across as 'your favorite PS4 games' and though that's fine, it wouldn't get the popular vote for PS4 owners.

But There is no list for what 5 games you need to own, since we are all different and my list is completely different to any one else's and reverse.

Thanks. Anyway, I actually own none of those games at the moment. Not interested in Bloodborne. I will get Uncharted 4 at some point. I played The Last of Us on the PS3. Not interested in Hitman. And I will get The Witcher 3 at some point.

But I dunno, I'm not going to analyze this too much. It's obviously something that was put to together based on personal opinion. Most will say Hitman is the odd one out, but again it's a list and different opinions blah blah blah.

If I'll had to choose 5 essential games for PS4 they'll be:

1. Booldborne

2. DOOM

3. MGS:PP

4. Uncharted 4

5. GTA V

I'd say 1- Uncharted 4 2- The Last of Us 3- Bloodborne 4- The Witcher 3 5- Ratchet and Clank
