A few questions about PS2

Hey guys.

Last gen I dixdn't have a PS2, and there are alot of titles I missed. I was wondering if buying a PS2 now is worth it? On most shopping websites the games are pretty cheap. So do you also know where I could get some cheap hardware? (I live in Scotland, with a GAME store and a Gamestation store a bus ride away) Also,if I do get one, I wouldn't know what colour to get :lol:

The thing is, I already have a Wii, and I wanna keep it for interesting Wii titles that catch my eye. I was just looking for a little something more "hardcore" if you know what I mean?

So, any help and stufff would be great!

they are very cheap , and they aren't old to play , nah!

A PS2 (preferably the slim model) is well worth getting. It has a huge library of games, which amazingly is still growing and your guaranteed to find something.

You can get a brand new slim PS2 from amazon.co.uk for under £90. The better looking silver one costs around £105. An absolute bargain. Also all the PS2 games on there are very well priced too. I buy from there whenever I can. :)

I've always stayed away from ebay. You never know whats going to happen with that site.

PS3, 360 and Wii may rule this console gen but you just can't beat the PS2. For now anyway.

The red ones do look amazing but I don't think it would play any PAL (our region) games. Though I'm not sure I think it's just the current gen consoles that are region free.

Would be a nice collecter item though. :)

You HAVE to get a PS2!!

you have missed out on so much, the MGS series, the resident evil series, the gta series...just to name a few!!

You can get them for about £95 now ( which is precisely $184.7465 in the US!)

I would suggest you stick with the black model, but get a slim line!! (the silver PS2 has alleged difficulties)
