Anyone had any urges to play those Old-School, Retro or even Modern games thatyou haven't played in a while and want to getyour hands-on again? I can't really think of any apart from Ocarina of Time, although I must get round to buying from the Wii Shop Channel.

Every time I act on that urge I usually get disappointed, especially if it is a 3D game from the 90s. Early 3D has not aged well, and the graphics of old PSone and N64 games make the DS 3D graphics look like a PS3. However, if I'm hankering for some old school platforming, nothing hits the spot like some classic Mario 3.

I always get the urge. Im trying to curb that urge to play my old games before all the amazing games start coming out in 1-2 months.

Yeah the Tomb Raider series is fantastic but I haven't got round to playing the newest addition yet: Tomb Raider Anniversary. I've actually just bought FFVII from amazon because I've had the urge to play it in quite awhile. God knows why I got rid of it but at least I'm gonna be able to play it again soon!!

I'm never disappointed when I replay Torment. And I recently replayed Wasteland, Fallout 1+2 and had a lot of fun

Happened to me last week. Out of nowhere, felt like playing Day of the Tentacle again. Installed ScummVM, started playing, and about and hour and a half later I was done. Good times.

I suddenly had the urge to play LoZ: Majora's Mask on my N64. I almost clawed my eyes out, the graphics have not aged well at all. I would choose the higher-res GC version any day. I could barely make out anything, but I did manage to try out some of the cool glitches I saw online ( I have the gold cart).

As I played it more though, I started to get back that warm fuzzy feeling whenyou get that bittersweet realization that something like this will never come along again....

Wicked, to be quite honest I didn't think I would get this many responses but I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets a kick out of playing those games that have been left at the back of the cupboard to collect dust for years. Please keep leaving your gaming urges...

I got it when writing out my game collection thing. So I did play a few! And blogged a little about it.
