A Question about Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles for GC

for single player, do i need a gameboy w/ link cable, or a GC controller?

I am wondering because i am really considering getting this game and i dont have a gameboy cause i sold it.

I remember playing this and i'm pretty sure you only need a controller man.

the multiplayer wasn't baffling... it was stupid. if you have 3 other friends who all have gbas and link cables you can go on a quest to get rid of the miasma. and each one of you will be able to tell where something is located... be it treasure, enemies, magic, etc. if you have no friends... or no gbas then you can play alone... sadly... with the controller, but you will NEED 3 friends and 4 gbas and 4 link cables to get all of the goodies to level you character up to the max. you don't ever really level up in ffcc, you get stuff that makes you stronger, faster, more defensive, etc.sofaking_bob
