A question about Final Fantasy XII (no spoilers)

So i've played this game for 20 something hours and I am suposed to go to Jahara for some reason (can't remember)

I've taken a break from the game and i'm now considering starting to play it again so I was just wondering how long this game is? The main quest that is... i'm not to keen on sidequests usually.

Because honestly if it's a 70+ hour game Like dragon quest 8 i'm not going to play through it.

I finished it in 90 hours, half of that was grinding. Fantastic game, but... yeah.

It took me about about 35 -40 hours just for the main story I didn't grind at all. It wasn't that hard about the same as other FF games. But if you do the side quest which are VERY fun (most of them are boss battles) that will add anther 90 hours to your game. So in all in took me about 130 hours to beat most of the game.

It took me about 70 hours aswell to beat DQVIII so i think we are on the same level. I was level 40 when i beat that game.
