Every game is either scored way too high (GTA IV, MGS 4), or way too low (Mercs 2, Facebreaker)

The whole reason it seems, is to be "edgy." That's the whole damn reason no one trusts Gamespot's reviews (except the extreme fanboys of course), why can't they review fairly?

GTA IV is in no way perfect, after the story there's basically nothing to do, and the multiplayer is pretty lame, It's probably a 9.0-9.5, Same deal with MGS 4, too many cinematics which prevent you from playing, and again, lame multiplayer It's probably 8.5 - 9.5 material.

Mercenaries 2 may have alot of bugs and tech issues, and the graphics may not be too great, but the game is FUN, and it's a blast to play, it should've atleast gotten a 7.0-7.5.

Facebreaker is from what I've seen, a pretty lame game, but it's in no way 3.5 material, I rented the game, it's atleast a 6.0...

Seriously shouldn't anything below 5 be given to some cheap ass movie game ment to cash in on the movie... or something...

It's getting really PATHETIC now.

agreed gamespots nothing like it was years ago. Good reviews, perfect site layout, no rounding in their reviews, good reviewers. Now it's just reduced to nothing.

Yeah I'd always liked Gamespot but I'm not really even taking their reviews seriously anymore.

I don't believe any game deserves a Perfect Score. There is no such thing as perfection which I think reviewers should take in consideration when reviewing. On that note, the scores they have been giving such as Too Human and Mercenaries 2 is quite undoublty questionable at most.

Not always. If that were true, the concept of a favorite/best game would be flawed.
