Am I crazy for thinking Super Mario Sunshine is better than Super Mario 64?

Here's where I stand on all the collect 120 stars 3d mario games. My favorite is sunshine then 64 the galaxy 2 then galaxy 1. Also people might say that I'm crazy for saying I thought both the galaxy games were great. Anyone agree with my list? This is up there on my favorite group/series of games. Probably 2nd the the Ratchet and clank future games.

technically speaking.......

those are really platformers though and not what you would term adventure games.

since the Nintendo is now used for Wii/WiiU this topic would more properly suit the Legacy Forum

No, Super Mario Sunshine is a good game for the N64. It provided a very great gameplay that kept the gamers focused in playing it. It was a fine and solid game.

I haven't played SM Sunshine yet, but I wouldn't be surprise if its a better game then SM64. I love that game, its a classic and all that shit, but when u play it nowadays, like so many other platformers of the mid-90s in the early 3D game movement, the camera angles are just awful. I forgive the game since it was one of the first 3D platformers, but it can be very frustrating to play when u fall down a hole or something, and u can't c where u landed, and then suddenly u fall off the whole level and die. By the time Gamecube came out, those camera issues had been ironed out and game designers had learned formulas for good 3D games without some of the early pitfalls. No pun intended.
