Just put in Bioshock, and of course had to invert the Y axis, which got me thinking, am I the only one that does this?? I guess its from the years of flying games but ive never been able to get used to the "normal" control scheme?

Should I just learn to live with up being up??

you can change the settings so that every FPS game you put in automatically switches your y-axisto inverted...

go to your gamertag profile, then game defaults, then action....you can change it from there...

i always play inverted too

You must be an inverted person. Do you wear your pants on your head?

I use inverted for multi-player and normal for single-player I don't know why I can't play with one for both but I can't.

I ALWAYS used to do that with my games.

Anyway, I just bought Oblivion a couple of days ago, and Just bought Bioshock today, and it felt REAL funny playing it at fisrt, just because the inverted y-axis just feels right to me.

But I was too lazy to check and see if there were any options for inverting the y-axis, so I sort of got used to it after abought an hour.

But yeah...inverted axis just seems right to me. Aside from the fact that it keeps FPS gaming consistent with other games, it just makes sense. If I want to look up, I tilt my head BACK, not forward. If I want to aim up, I tilt the gun backwards, not up.

I honestly don't see how it is that more people DON'T use the inverted axis.

I love it inverted and it's always a pain when we switch off controllers with my freinds because they play with it normal.

The inverters are coming, run for your lives *runs away*.

I don't invert, I like my normal controls.

This is a weird issue for me, actually. When playing space sims and/or stuff like Ace Combat, inverted Y feels more natural. In FPSs though, I prefer standard mode.

I've always used inverted, except for back when normal was what inverted is now. It just feels more natural after playing so many flight sims. It's also more like how the head moves.

It depends what we're talking about :) I usually play inverted on PC, though I've tried normal and I liked it for a while, I think inverted is still a bit more natural to me. And on 360 I always play normal, for some reason inverted doesn't make any sense to my hands when using a controller!

inverted just seems "normal" to pull back on the analog stick is like you muscles in your neck pulling back to look up....get what I'm saying? I've always been and inverter myself and I know a lot of people that are the same way and always wonder are we just a single group of people that are just not "normal" ? lol. I started to think why don't they make inverted...Normal and normal controls that odd ball?
