Aww, c'mon. Yes, I think Platinum is a hilariously overrated developer and that Bayonetta is a disgrace to this medium, but I'm not a blind hater. I actually enjoyed the Vanquish demo. I wouldn't mind picking it up for REAL cheap. :D

Hehe... was going to make a thread celebrating Max Anarchy but, I never got around to it. Anyway, Anarchy Reigns also features Jack from MadWorld as well as some of the music artist from the game. Very little is known about the online multiplayer and Platinum has said that they are inventing a new genre as far as the online goes........ I expect some sort of arena based brawler (it's previous name was Max Arena) online. A single player campaing will also be included and more character reveals through out the week.

Anyone else (and judging by the above comments I think not) think that actually this looks a little dry ... I mean Koei have been doing this kind of thing for years ... I need to see more but really it just looks like a generic, button masher to me ....

Platinum is making the game they have been making fast fun and incredibly insane games as of late. I mean if it is anything like Madworld which from what I have read many people liked its going to be great. Wait till the game comes out and see then until then keep an open mind. I did this with Bayonetta I thought the game was gonna be stupid and not worth my money and I didnt go near it when it came out but now i have it and love it. Wait till it is released.

Zero and Big Bull both look badass in their own right. I can't wait for this game and the release of other characters that will be in the game.

I was a little turned off at first but after seeing the female character moving and doing Bayonetta-like attacks at a Bayonetta-like speed, I'm sold. I've got a couple of friends who love Bayonetta and on the rare occasion that I see them in person around a 360, Sonic's UGC goes in and all we do is play Streets of Rage games for hours.

If this game is basically Bayonetta with online co-op then it'll be our fix for years.

Also it's interesting to see the resemblence to other characters of Platinum and Sega characters. Particularly in fighting skills.

The obvious:

Jack = Jack

Sasha = Bayonetta

The Bull = Sam Gideon (Both have boost attacks)

And finally Zero = Shinobi

Erm...no. Like I said, Online infers a persistent world (MMO = Massively Multiplayer ONLINE). Multiplayer is just multiplayer. I'm not aware of any other multiplayer game besides Metal Gear Online that uses it.
