After MK,Castlevania,DMC,Tomb Raider,do you think there are any other franchises that need a reboot?
Maybe RE for me....
Or Silent Hill,but i wouldn't like that.

Dude,i have the Super Nintendo version of Wing Commander.
And yes.
I'd like to add Mega Man,and Bloodrayne.
Resident Evil needs a reboot made by a western developer. Think of the possibilitiesBlack_Knight_00
Hey! yeah!
But maybe just another game by a western developer, instead of a reboot.
I'd like all the old Resident Evil's (Zero, 1, 2, and 3) remade but with the new third person perspective from Re4, 5 and 6. I don't know about anyone else but I think that would be amazing!
I don't think any franchise needs a reboot, even though I don't have anything against reboots either.
With that said, I'd like to see a new Legacy of Kain in some capacity.
spyro and crash bandicoot MAZ85Nope, at least not Spryo seeing as how Insomniac isn't involved with it anymore.
A new legacy of kain would be cool.
I would like another rogue galaxy over everything tho.
Breath of Fire needs one asap.
Reboots are a plague. Sure, they can work, but in most cases they are either ridiculous, or viciously unwarranted(lookin' at you, Castlevania).El_Zo1212o
Negative much?
Either a reboot or sequel of The Suffering would be cool, and would probably go over well since it's already a horror action game but at least the 1st one had a really good atmosphere and creative enemy design to stay true to the horror part of it (idk what really happened to the 2nd game, but whatever it was didn't really work well).
Metal Gear. After the awfulness of 4, and considering that despite Kojima's false protestations that he isn't going to make any more, the whole series just needs to be upended and reintroduced. Most of the mechanics in 4 were dated. I'd like to see them make a more open world Metal Gear that doesn't try to carry on the bullsh!t story, which is ruined anyway. Just keep and update the fun mechanics and jettison the Kojima psychobabble.
The third game was released in 2010. Forgot about that...[QUOTE="chilly-chill"]Golden Sun, as long as it's done right though.thom_maytees
I'd like to see someone bring back Fear Effect, only without the daftness that permeated Retro Helix (still a great game though).

That's pretty much how I feel. If a developer feels that the creative avenues have been exhausted or that there is no commercial potential, they ought to kill a franchise rather than endlessly reboot it rather than convert it into whatever genre is popular at the moment.
People keep mentioning Freedom Fighters. Did any of you play Kane & Lynch: Dead Men? It was as close to a sequel as yo ur likely to get. And besides, how are you going to reboot a game that has no sequels?Freedom Fighters and Gun. I also badly want a new Delta Force game. Even if it would be a reboot, I would take it.

Megaman, Megaman X, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy Tactics (maybe not a reboot but a new entry at least), Ogre Battle, Star Fox, Conker's Bad Fur Day...
That's all for now.
I never would've thought to say Vectorman, but that's an interesting idea. I'd love to see a a modern Vectorman.Darkstalkers, Tony Hawk, Killer Instinct, Road Rash, Crash Bandicoot, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set/Grind Radio, Vectorman,
PlayBox39
BloodrayneGreekGameManiacYeah, I'd love it if a reboot was a bit like Assassin's Creed, but more fast paced and focused on the action as BloodRayne is, obviously. So basically, like Assassin's Creed but without all of the deep side quest stuff and in a different setting and whatnot :). Would love some sort of Wet and Stranglehold type influences in there too, but not too much of that. Thinking mostly of the fast paced action and bullet time thing. I am thinking of an obvious one, but I have thought for a while that maybe Call of Duty needs a reboot now. I would love it to go back to WWII, but with a new engine and better graphics. Actually, they could maybe even benefit from being arcade and realistic, you get to choose in the campaign and online (lobbies). The arcade would be a choice between old and current CoD styles and the realistic setting would be like the Battlefield games.
Nothing really comes to mind... However, I will say that Madden needs a bit of a reboot considering not only has it basically stayed the same graphically, it hasn't really made any game-changing additions/changes for a long time.
