Any Good FREE Movie Editing Software?

hello all,

Ive started to make some gameplay clips on ps3, using Windows movie maker (which is pissing me off!)

anyone got any good free movie editing software they could link me to :D

in my experience good and free do not go together. you need to pony up sir. get premeir elements

The only decent one that I can think of is VirtualDub. Even then, I'd say you're better off paying for a better product like Adobe Premiere Elements.

The top two free ones I've used are Apple's iMovie for Macs and the version of MovieMaker that came with Vista or Windows Live for Windows 7. I don't use MovieMaker that's in XP because it's unstable and buggy as hell.

Most video-capture hardware (including video cards with Video-In) should also come bundled with custom versions of commercial video-editing softrware.

As pointed free and good are a rare mix. If you want a good editing software get sony vegas.
