Any of the new racing games worth it?

ps4 has been pretty starved for racing games but with f1 2016, arsetta corsa coming, and valentino rossi. Or just wait for grand turismo sport?

i'm interested in this. driving games are conspicuous by their absence in my ps4 collection

Yeah same here. Kind of an open question but I'd like to know what people think. I'm thinking of picking of Arsetta Corsa but might just wait for Grand Turismo Sport. Preferably intelligent replies from people with hands on experience with these games not people trying to sell me something unless you are a good salesperson lol.

The best racing game of all time comes out on the Xbone next month.

Ok maybe not the best of all time, but forza horizon 3 looks great. I dont play a lot of racing games, but ive noticed that the last few major releases have been disappointing from most peoples points of view. Namely the crew and the new Need for Speed.

I might pick up Forza Horizon. On Windows 10 though. Never played the franchise cause I never owned an Xbox.

Forza Motorsport five and six comes to mind, as well as Forza Horizon 2 and 3. There's also Project CARS, which I recommend only to seasoned racing fans. They are excellent modern racers, in my opinion.

If you like racing games, PS4 is the wrong console for you.

Racing Genre for this Gen is dead until they release an affordable wheel like the DFGT

Ps4 has a few great driving games IMO.

And for total arcadey yet fun but gets loads of hate is the latest N4S. It's cheap enough now to have fun with it.

So far none of the acing games strike my fancy as much, except for maybe NASCAR heat evolution, but it's reviews seem to show a strong disappointment. If it's career is anything like the PS2 era NASCAR games, I may buy it but otherwise I'm sticking to NASCAR 2007, Gran Trusimo 5, and eventually Forza Motorsports 3 when I get it.
