The most recent Penny-Arcade comic perfectly sums up my feelings on online gaming, now that I'm 27, married, have a career, own a house, and have a baby. Anyone else chuckle when they read this?

I think online has just gotten out of hand. The Xbox360 is terible if you don't want to pay for the online(Mass Effect is good though) and on PS3, it's the same as explaned here: whining kids. I'm only 11, but I apreciate plot & gameplay a lot more than online compatibility. Then there's dlc, paying more money for content that should be in the original version.GLaDOS_700You're eleven?

You're only 11 ?! Oh my..... That wasn't a wise thing to say here..... :?
Reminds me of WoW haha.
Interupting raids/intances to check on babies and whatnot haha.
I was playing Borderlands last Halloween and I had to keep leaving the group to give candy to trick-or-treaters.I don't mind. Perhaps not in FPS, but generally I find people of interest of all ages. also, I don't have any responsibilities such as kids, a job, car, family, etc.DaavpukeROFL. You realise the thread is a joke right? It's not meant to be taken seriously!
I remember when I first realized some of the best online gamers I knew were kids :-/istuffedsunnyThat's one advantage of gaming in the pre internet era. My first embarassing defeat was a Street Fighter II arcade machine whena 8 yaer old kid totally owned me! It was a very ashamed teenager that walked away from that encounter

It's pretty accurate, I'm not aparent - not able to be, but I do have obligations to consider first - cooking, bills, sleep, when able, and other non-gaming things. Comes with living alone. And I'm 31.
I prefer single player over multi player anyway, with single player there's no demands to stick around for farther games, I can just play in my own time and if I've got things to do, then I either don't play or I save and switch off.
Gaming's only meant to be fun anyway, not life or death.
