So I'm sure alot of us are stoked for Red Dead Redemption, but I was wondering while the genre may be small, has there been any Western game you played that you liked?
For me, it was in 1997. It was Lucasarts Outlaws game. A First-Person Shooter.

You may be thinking of Sunset Riders. I enjoyed that one when I was younger...both in the arcades and on my Genesis. Also, Gun is only a few years old. That game was okay, also.
I have to agree with Sunset Riders. I had a ton of fun (and lost quarters) with this game. I think it eventually came out for SNES, can't recall if I ever played it though. Gun was an amusing game, and it did many things right. I just don't think it was widely appreciated since the western is kind of a niche genre.
Is there any western game I haven't played? :P Outlaws, Call of Juarez, Gun, Dead Man's Hand, Desperados, Red Dead Revolver... you name it, I have it. I even played and beaten the horrendous Western Outlaw (3.0 on gamespot, look it up), and the horrid Gun Warrior and Wanted Guns. That should give you the picture of how Western-happy and how hyped for Red Dead Redemption I am.
