There are worse problems , I know, but lately I find myself feeling frustrated at all the good games there are to play. I have a gaming PC and the 3 Consoles (Wii doesn't factor in because I havent turned it on in like 8 months) I guess it stems for me from the fact that I don't feel I'm done with a game until I've played through it at least once. So I've got a bunch of games I haven't even op[ened because I don't want to start them without finishing the one Im working on. All these awesome games to play at my disposal with just more good ones near on the horizon... I dunno I just find it frustrating because I was to finish "insert game here" to move onto the next one. Force Unleashed is the latest one I need to finish for PS3 and I also want to give a good try to Age of Conan and Warhammer Online... Arg I'm getting frustrated and indecisive just thinking about it lol!! Anyone else get my drift and feel the same way at all?

Not really frustrating cause if I don't pick up a game I want this fall I can always pick it up at a later date. But this fall is making my wallet start to worry alittle bit for the games I do want to pick up lol.

In a way, yes. I am like you. I don't want to just set the game aside unless I have finished it fully. I don't want to rush through a game either though. So some times it gets a little overwhelming when you see so many games you want to play coming out + all the games that are already out that you haven't finished yet.

No not really. I'd find it frustrating if I had too few to play which thankfully isn't the case. I may not have the time or money for all the games I'd like to play but that's ok because at least when I do play it's something that I'm enjoying.

I started out his way, but these days I find it exceedingly difficult to leave a game store without something new in my hand. I guess the solution would be to not go into game stores but alas, I am weak .

2004 was terrible for me. First it was Fable, Sims 2, Burnout 3, Silent Hill 4, Katamari Damacy, Otogi 2, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, Killzone, Ratchet, GTA: San Andreas, Halo 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Half Life 2, Metroid Prime 2, Prince of Perasia, Star Wars: KotOR II.

Right now it's a little difficult. After my birthday I recieved Mass Effect, Dead Rising, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The only game I've completed so far is Resistance. I got far in Dead Rising before getting stuck in the parking garage mission and now I restarted the whole game. I am doing pretty well in Mass Effect however, and Ninja Gaiden I am slowly progessing through the game. I want to beat all these games before Silent Hill 5, but I don't know if thats going to happen.

Kind of. It's just that one second I am thinking of playing this game, then another second I wanna play another game.

If it's really an issue I'll have your excess games...

I'd rather have too many than too few, but I can see your point.

Lol, I've had this frustration for 10 years, mainly with PC games. PC games used to be notorious for long game length. Yet, I kept buying games even though I didn't have time to play them. Starcraft sucked up most of my time. I got addicted to battle.net.

The frustation is that games are not timeless entertainment. I tried booting up Jedi Knight 2 two years ago, and the graphics looked so awful that I could not stand to play it. Amazing because I remember this game blowing me away graphic wise in 1998. I sold my PS1 Medal or Honor game because of the horrible graphics. I still have tons of games from last gen that I haven't touched either.

though I don't have nearly as many games as you do, I feel the same way about my games. Both in my collection of games and my wishlist of all the games I want to get it doesn't seem like I'll ever have the time to finish them all... it also doesn't help that I generally suck at games (i use the easiest setting mostly)

I definitely feel the same way. I have all these games i still have to play through but have so much other stuff to do it feels like im never going to get time to finish all of them even though i know theyre all good games that i just havent gotten around to yet. This goes for both the games i own and all the good ones that are still coming out.

Why the hell do people buy so many games when they still haven't beaten the current one? I take a month to beat most games, I usually don't get another one until I beat my current one. Isn't money also a problem for you guys to just keep buying games like hot dogs?

For me it's a particular level of anticipation more than frustration. But all these games that have me interested definately put a dent in my wallet as well as my free time!

But....I must play FARCRY 2. There's simply no way around that fact.

Yeah, especially last gen with PS2 and Xbox. I've come into this current gen earlier though, so it has been easier to keep up with the newer releases so far. It really is frustrating having a lot of games sitting around unplayed and it can feel like a waste of money. Best thing to do is just buy one game at a time, and only when you're finished with your previous game. Besides, it just makes it easier to focus on one game at a time rather than thinking, 'should I play this one today - nah, maybe this one - or this'.

Same here.

I only buy 1 game at a time. It was only twice when I bought 2 games at once (MGS4 and Oblivion, Star Wars TFU and R&C TOD) but I finished 1 of it first before playing the other. I play the shorter one first.

And I only have 1 console per gen. IMO it's a waste of money to buy 2 more consoles per gen since 90% of the games are the same. But don't get me wrong, I can afford all consoles per gen but for me 1 is enough. I just go to a "console cafe" to play other consoles. Hehe.
