I never buy a game until I complete the previous one.czort666I started out his way, but these days I find it exceedingly difficult to leave a game store without something new in my hand. I guess the solution would be to not go into game stores but alas, I am weak .
In a way, yes. I am like you. I don't want to just set the game aside unless I have finished it fully. I don't want to rush through a game either though. So some times it gets a little overwhelming when you see so many games you want to play coming out + all the games that are already out that you haven't finished yet.SavageM2Ah! One who understands. We are one in the same, brudda :)
There are worse problems , I know, but lately I find myself feeling frustrated at all the good games there are to play. I have a gaming PC and the 3 Consoles (Wii doesn't factor in because I havent turned it on in like 8 months) I guess it stems for me from the fact that I don't feel I'm done with a game until I've played through it at least once. So I've got a bunch of games I haven't even op[ened because I don't want to start them without finishing the one Im working on. All these awesome games to play at my disposal with just more good ones near on the horizon... I dunno I just find it frustrating because I was to finish "insert game here" to move onto the next one. Force Unleashed is the latest one I need to finish for PS3 and I also want to give a good try to Age of Conan and Warhammer Online... Arg I'm getting frustrated and indecisive just thinking about it lol!! Anyone else get my drift and feel the same way at all?Garygok
Lol, I've had this frustration for 10 years, mainly with PC games. PC games used to be notorious for long game length. Yet, I kept buying games even though I didn't have time to play them. Starcraft sucked up most of my time. I got addicted to battle.net.
The frustation is that games are not timeless entertainment. I tried booting up Jedi Knight 2 two years ago, and the graphics looked so awful that I could not stand to play it. Amazing because I remember this game blowing me away graphic wise in 1998. I sold my PS1 Medal or Honor game because of the horrible graphics. I still have tons of games from last gen that I haven't touched either.
no I get frustrated at life that forces me to work 40 hrs a week to sustain this rotting body....
which takes away time from me to play all the games I have.
Kind of. It's just that one second I am thinking of playing this game, then another second I wanna play another game.EuroMafia
That's the problem that I usually have.
For me it's a particular level of anticipation more than frustration. But all these games that have me interested definately put a dent in my wallet as well as my free time!
But....I must play FARCRY 2. There's simply no way around that fact.
:)

Same here.
I only buy 1 game at a time. It was only twice when I bought 2 games at once (MGS4 and Oblivion, Star Wars TFU and R&C TOD) but I finished 1 of it first before playing the other. I play the shorter one first.
And I only have 1 console per gen. IMO it's a waste of money to buy 2 more consoles per gen since 90% of the games are the same. But don't get me wrong, I can afford all consoles per gen but for me 1 is enough. I just go to a "console cafe" to play other consoles. Hehe.
