Back then, a helluva lot. Now my 360 controllers cost around 50 a pop, can't afford to do that.

No way. I'd rather spend my money on new games than replacement controllers.

Me too. I just seem to end up breaking them. When i got my ps3 i never thought i'd break a controller because they're so expensive but i did. A pillow just doesn't seem to ease the anger. It's like a spur of the moment thing. I always deeply regret it right after. I need something that i can reach while i'm playing a game that i can take out my frustration on instead of a expensive controller.

Just keep a lego statue or something next to you.

That would hurt! Legos can be sharp.

I shamefully admit that I did it once before and broke a controller. Never done it ever since...even though I felt like it many times. I learned my lesson. It's not worth buying a new controller just because you get angry at a game. And also, it's just a game.

I've thrown controllers, but none of them have had lasting problems from it. My TV has had far more aggression. Last semester, I punched the TV hard enough that it fell backwards off of the stand, taking all of the power cords out of the wall, pulling the plugs for my computer, external harddrive, Xbox, TV, N64... My TV was put into a high school's garbage about five years ago for not working, and I've been using it since. I've also punched it several times. However, I have recently matured some more. I have leveled up, and I'm now able to control my anger better. I haven't struck or thrown anything for a couple of months, now. :)

I used to do it, but then I realized that it's just a game and meant to be enjoyed. There's no point in getting frustrated when you can just quit playing for awhile, or learn to control your emotions. Even if something is going horribly bad I'll just laugh it off and roll with it.

Yeah, I've been through several 360 controllers, though I haven't broken any this year. I got this "limited edition" controller with little designs on it. I like it a lot, so I haven't broken it.

In a way you feel like damaging something is the only way for your anger to subside. This is why people brake things.
