Im not really a fan of survival horror-action type games but this game looks interesting enough to warrant a try.

Anyone else interested or looking forward for its release?

Absolutely. I think this is EA's first crack at survival horror. Previews have mentioned they are attempting to make this game that is as terrifying as can be. Those are lofty ambitions, but so far it looks promising. Zero gravity, intense gore, dismemberment. . . I see good things.

its rare that im excited for an EA game, but that'd be me. it looks incredibly atmospheric. it barrows a bit from scifi horror movies, but atleast they are good ones (and different mediums anyway).

Yes, definitely. I love how sleek the game looks, especially how they were able to get rid of the hud and put everything on the character.

I've watched every video I've come across, but I can't say I'm excited but I'm interested. Dead Space reminds me of a 3D Splatterhouse (yes, I know there is 3D Spatterhouse in the works).
