[QUOTE="Chris_Williams"] rockstar isn't going to be at this E3 so i doubt GTA V is being announced. But i'm expecting a great E3 this yearUpInFlames
It doesn't matter if Rockstar is there or not. It will still get announced. Just not by Rockstar themselves. Probably at one of the big three conferences. I believe GTA IV was announced at the MS conference in 06, and not by Rockstar themselves.Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the big GTA V shocker will come at the Nintendo conference as a Project Cafe launch title. That was one of the big rumours for the new Nintendo console, and a shocker like that would definitely turn some heads. I'm calling it now.
Yeah, that's so not gonna happen. Rockstar making Grand Theft Auto V on a Nintendo system would be the dumbest move ever.
Rockstar is obsessive regarding marketing, they're not going to allow anyone to annouce their game. It has never happened. Grand Theft Auto IV was announced in March 2007 by Rockstar (remember the trailer that broke the internets?).
Rockstar traditionally doesn't attend E3. It's not gonna happen.
That trailer wasn't the announcement. That was just the debut trailer. A trailer we knew was coming for months because of the countdown on their website. It broke the internet because we all wanted to see the first trailer for the already announced GTA IV. It was first announced at E3 06 when Peter Moore rolled up his sleeve and revealed a (temporary) GTA IV tattoe. Debut trailer isn't the same as an announcement. And you're wrong. Putting GTA V on a Nintendo console would be a genius move by Rockstar. Not only because it's fairly obvious that releasing a game on one more console should mean more sales, but also because it's new hardware. Launch lineups for new consoles generally don't have many good games to choose from. Making such a big game like GTA V a launch title for new hardware will mean that most people getting the new Nintendo console will get GTA V along with it. That adds up to a lot of extra sales. Rockstar have already put GTA games on Nintendo handhelds, so don't bet against them putting the series on a console. Mark my words, it will happen.
