This game is on my top ten favorite games list. Many fond memories. In fact, this game is the only game I've ever seen my grandmother play. She was so hooked on it when my uncles had a SNES back when it came out. After playing it with my family at a young age, and continuing to play it for years after, I had either lost or traded the game at some point, probably around 1995. Almost 10 years later, my mom got me a silver Gameboy Advance SP for Christmas (I think this was in 2003 or 2004), and Super Ghouls and ghosts ADVANCE! I was blown away by this, there was no other game that would have made me more happy to receive as my first GBA game. I played it for years again. I beat it multiple times, but the most frustrating part of the game is getting to the VERY end boss, and being turned back to level 1 because you don't have the magical bracelet (which is the only weapon that can be used against the final boss. No other weapon hurts him, therefore you have to start the game over and obtain it). It's a crap weapon to use in the rest of the levels because it didn't have a super ability (when you had the golden armor and held the attack button you'd charge your weapon and unleash a super attack). Well there's my life story. Hope you enjoyed my brief summary of my incredible fondness of this game.
Awesome game, however I only played it a friends house. So I've never even made it past the first stage. haha. Although one day I plan on buying it, and then one day... beating it.
heck yes i did, and still do. although ive only beaten it twice, so not much better luck then anyone else. the sixth level with the castle was my favorite. the final boss was epic with his snazzy purple coat.
