Whats up. I hooked up to Xbox live two nights ago. Yesterday I played pretty much the whole entire day. I woke up with a headache and my eyes are sore. All I want to do is play again today. That said, whats a good way to relax your eyes besides sleeping?

Meditating is a great way to relax everything. But sometimes, even when I try to meditate, my brain won't say goodbye to the games - LOL. I wish you good luck on that one, friend!!

Go where the sun is shining directly on your face and close your eyes for a while. It works for me.

By the way, this is probably gonna get locked because it's not in Off-topic.

There is no better way to relax your eyes. If you are experiencing those symptoms, you should stop playing immediately and take a break. And in the future, to help reduce those symptoms, take a 10-15 minute break at least once an hour when you're playing.

Video games are not more important than your health. ;)

Are you sure it was because of the games? You never exactly said that your head and eyes were hurting and is the reason you stopped, just that when you woke up it hurt. I have had it where I was up way to long and then slept for way to long with similar symptoms. It could just be that you overslept. :? But I am not sure for any other ways to relax your eyes. :P

Pet a cat till it purrs heavily.

Lay on the floor and close your eyes.

Have the cat sleep on your face.

True relaxation.

generally speaking u should really sleep it off. it might be your eyes are a little more sensitive to light and overexposure would cause them to ache. i remember when i first popped in a blu-ray of "Dark Knight" and the colors hurt my eyes. just take a break, it wouldnt kill yah.

Sounds like you need glasses to be honest

If you're getting headaches and sore eyes while playing, you should take a break.

Thanks for all the info guys! No, I dont wear glasses but I'm sure I need them. Everything at about 20-30 feet starts to get blurry.

I went from level 1 to level 12 on my first day on Gears 2. Pretty much played the whole day!
