Anyone know where exactly this music is from, or what it's called? (SaGa?)

Weird question, I know... apparently they come from a game series called SaGa but I don't really have anymore clues and I'm not having any luck looking on Youtube. It's been bugging me for a while, I've even tried asking the one who uploaded the video but it seems he's inactive. I'd really appreciate any help I could get with this. The songs in question start after the intro stuff.

maybe the saga frontier series on the ps1 square soft made two of them on the ps1, and i haven't played the first game in over 10 years and i never played the second one and i don't remember all the music from the first one but its a great rpgelbert_b_23

Thanks for the reply. I sampled some of the music from the Saga frontier games but none of it really sounded similar. I'm at such a loss. :P

It sounds like Romancing Saga. The trilogy never was released out of Japan. The music in the first clip sounds like a metal version of an SNES song. At the beginning of the first video you can hear some of the original music. It is definitely not PS1.
