Perhaps you should purchase some more movie-games, thats only 1.5 years of development right up your alley.
You do realize how much time/money & effort has to go into making a game right? Especially something of Resident Evil's stature, it'll take a while man; be patient.
Although I will repeat what others have said and that it's better to wait, what Capcom did was annoying...by showing that trailer with the fast zombies a couple of years ago and dangling Resident Evil 5 right in front of us and then saying nothing about it. If we're lucky though it could be at this year's E3.

haha It probably has something to do with shooting zombies who am I kidding last one I played was Code Veronica on Dreamcast didn't even get past the first disc I think

He's right. It's been long enough, they need to show us at least some new screens or a tiny bit of gameplay. These kind of games are why I bought a next gen system. So far all we've gotten is a bunch of generic FPS and racing games. Aside from Oblivion.
Same old crap. I bet Fable2 and Re5 Get cancelled. That would be too much to ask that they actually m ake a game that utilizes next gen technology.
I feel like I'm stating the obvious here, but quality games like RE4 with a large environment and topnotch visuals take a long time to make, not to mention how high they set the bar with RE4. They are going to have a hell of a time outdoing themselves.
Whatever, I'm still playing the thirty million bargain-priced PS2 games I've missed over the years.
