Where the original Playstation console was bigger and clunkier. I still like the newer smaller PSOne but I just prefer the classic and bigger Playstation console. There's just something about it that I still love about it

My old big PS1 works even to this day. I love that system;my favorite of all-time. And yes the opening when starting a game was always great.

Its only fifteen bucks, I would like to have it, since I have Warzone 2100, warhawk, and GTA. but, I really rather save money for college.

No, I don't have my psone connected to my TV at all times, so it's better that it's small and light each time I decide to play. And for the PS2, I think I prefer the automated disc tray on the first PS2 because it's just more high tech and there's no risk of touching the console eye that reads discs.

In my opinion, the original Playstation is the coolest looking games console ever. That and it had the biggest variety of games going.

I miss how the games for the PS1 used to be, and how they were made, they weren't always the best, but they were good enough :)

But then I still play them all the time, so I don't really miss it :D

yeah well the original Playstation console was and still is the best even though the newer smaller PSOne is still around.

I just prefer the older more clunkier Playstation console. It sucked that I had to put it on its side to try to play a game since my Playstation was wearing out BUT I did love the original since it had a reset button while the smaller PSONe didn't have a reset button.

The only way you had to reset a game on the PSONe was that you had to shut the console off and turn it back on

every damn day

i still have mine with most of my fav games on it

but for some reason i cant get myself to play em on my ps1

example: ive had suikoden 1 since its release and i havent played thru it again since it came out on psn

i think its cause the system isnt as reliable as it used to be, most of my memory cards r messing up to some extent and having to deal with the possibility of power outages... and other reasons

Why would anyone miss the original Playstaion?

A.) I still have a PSX (in mothballs)

B.) Anyone who really loved the original Playstation to begin with would sure have at least a PS2 by now, thus rendering the original model completely redundant.
