Has anyone tried RentZero, GottaPlay or Gamerang? If so, can you answer a few questions for me? 1.) How good is the service at sticking to your queue? Do they actually send stuff near the top of your list?
2.) Are they good at getting new releases?
3.) How the is the game selection for xbox 360, xbox and ps2?
4.) For anyone that might know, what are the shipping times like to Texas or other states in the south central US?
Any comments or suggestions on a Gamefly alternative would be much appreciated!

Hi. As you can tell, I'm from Rentzero.
1. Most of the time we manage to ship peoples' #1 queues, and most of the rest of the time we're within the top five. And the longer you hold a membership your chance of getting a #1 gets even better.
2. Our distributor is good about getting new games to us within a week of street date. For the big games - GoW, Halo 3, Super Mario Galaxy - we had copies before street date. We're always trying to speed up that process without resorting to setting up permanent camp in front of a Gamestop.
3. We actually do most of our business in the 360 right now, so its library is big and getting better all the time. As for previous gen we have just about everything you'd want and we don't plan on throwing away those games...well, ever. However we don't do handhelds so we can put all our focus on consoles.
4. We're based in Houston TX and because of that our stuff going to east and central TX and Louisiana usually gets there overnight. We can get stuff to the south central US in two days usually, three or four to the west coast, and four or five to the east coast. In fact, we recently switched our mailbox to the distribution center in downtown Houston and we hope to reduce time to your mailbox and back to ours even further.
Overall, we try to be a no-frills, all about games alternative to Gamefly - we advertise by word of mouth, we keep our costs low, we don't have a marketing department, and our website has all the lastest bells and whistles 1998 can offer. Our member fees go into running the business, paying for bandwidth, and buying new games - that's it. And based on that, we hold our own :)
