For me yes. I stuck with Crash and Sonic all the way through to the end. when SA came out I was one of the first to not get paid to review and noticed how annoying it was to play, but I made it and kept going. Brought the PS3 and Ps4 versions of Sonic 06 and all console version of Crash of the Titans, even the Wii version with the motion controls. When those hit me hard i kept buying. Also I buy all versions of SMB2 and LA available. Including DD if possible.
Call Of Duty - I love ths game series so much that even if the impossible occurs, and a bad title is released in this amazing franchise, that I would still stay loyal to the Call Of Duty name, as I would have full faith that the next game would be better!
Sometimes. I play on buying the Saturn version of Mega Man X3, which was panned for it's lack of changes to the series, long loading times, and what have you. I also plan to fork over the money for Final Fight Revenge on Saturn, even though I heard it's pretty disappointing, and goes for EarthBound prices as well.

Get the PS version of X3. It fixes many of the issues the Sat version has.
I have Sonic '06. On both platforms. Yeah. (I have the entire Sonic series [every game ever released on a handheld or home console, anyway], and Sonic '06 is the only game in the series I truly do not like at all)
I hate the crappy wand control mechanics of the Wii, but I still own "Skyward Sword", simply because its a Zelda title. Same reason I own "Link's Crossbow Trainer", "NGC Four Swords", and such; I rarely actually play them, but they're technically Zeldas :lol: and same reason I'd love to own the terrible (yet wonderful?) CDi titles

um....I don't own them yet, thats why I said "I'd love to own them".
as it stands with my final year of university upcoming, they just aren't in the budget right now :lol:

for instance, after being fairly disappointed in FF13 (and FF12) , I was very hesitant to buy FF13-2, and only bought it some half a year later at a very reduced price (I think I paid £8), probably a good move since I quickly got bored of that game either.

am I going to get the next Final Fantasy game? maybe , but certainly not right away.
Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Warcraft, Halo, God of War, Fire Emblem, StarCraft, games made by Naughty Dog/Team ICO/Blizzard/Rockstar.....
Luckily, these franchises release very few low quality games.
