Video games are my passion but I think I have more of a sex addiction, I can take or leaves gaming from time to time if Im busy but if I don't get some I get grouchy lol.csliney

I wish I could get "addicted" to World of Warcraft like everybody else in the world seems to be.

I just can't get into it, its one of the few games I have fallen asleep at the keyboard multiple times while playing (also woth mentioning on that note: Dungeon Siege).

I have much more fun in the Warcraft universe playing Warcraft and Warcraft 2 custom maps by myself or Warcraft 3 online, I don't understand what people see in World of Warcraft.

I used to get addicted but fortunately at that time my parents prevented my from playing to much. Now I see it clear that gaming is only one of my hobbies and I no longer let it affect more important things in life.

The experience depends greatly by which realm and with whom you play with. The first time I played I was blown away by its community and I met some nice people that, while not known in real life, will be remembered for the rest of my life. To be honest, it's the only video game made where there's truly a representation of a virtual world, everything else falls short. I was addicted to it for more than 2 years.

i love video games to death but I will always put the controller down if somebody is trying to get my attention. they will still be there after Im done doing whatever I had to do. thats the great thing about games, you can save it and pick it up a few days later. *GASP*

I use to live in an area where it was fun to go outside and play with your friends and the only time that i played video games was when it was rainy. Now since Im older and I hate going outside video games is that thing to do when your bored. If I have absolutely nothing to do I'll probably play 10+ hours. But after that I probably wont play for a couple days after that.

No, I usually play games if I am bored or have nothing to do. First I try to go outside and do something. If I can't find anywhere to go then I might go play video games. Or I go outside somewhere and afterwards play video games.twopic58

I'm not addicted but I do like them. They help me when I'm bored or when I have a lot of stuff on my mind I don't want to think about it.

Although I would beat the crap out of anyone who smashed my 400 dollar PS3.

Uh, does it mean I'm "Addicted" if I set my alarm to wake me up to play video games at 3:00am every morning when I stay up playing every night until 12:00am? Does it mean I'm "Addicted" if instead of calling friends, and family by their real names, I call them by my favorite video game character names? Am I "Addicted" if I can't walk down the street without a controller in my hand because I need to be able to control where I go? Do I have a video game "Addiction" if when I leave work for lunch I do re-enactments of my favorite game scenes in the middle of starbucks, nude? Am I "Addicted" to video games if when I masterbate I only think of my favorite game titles?

You my friend have one hell of a vivid imagination - I like it.

But no, I don't think a single one of those questions could be answered with a yes. You're not addicted to gaming, I mean, you're the next level above "whole can of crazy" - but you're not addicted to gaming. ;D
