Well, I'm only 13. And I am practically bad at them but a bit skilled sometimes. And to the guy who said he bet Mass Effect in a day. I can't beat that part with the Mako on Noveria because you can only repair your Mako ONCE!! Yes ONCE!!Deflight289
you just have to watch for missiles and when there comin at you just use your boosters to jump over them

It also helps to stay perpendicular to whatever is firing at you. That way you can move back and forth to dodge rockets and energy blasts as they come towards you.
I'm actually not very good at games, I think.
Often in reviews you'll see something like "it should take a normal gamer 12 hours to beat." For some reason, I rarely come in under this time- usually several more hours.
If it involves fast action, reflexes or coordination skills...I am definitely hopeless and any game focusing on these will at best get a neutral result from me, or be sent to hell (a few exceptions are well treated niak niak niak).
If it involves "thinking", strategies, tactics, puzzles (GBT!!!)...I think I can stand my grounds and if I find it challenging, it better has easier difficulty settings either for the casuals players...or for the staff of Gamespot! :P
I don't care much for challenges anymore, if it is there I will gleefully embrace it, a player learns to check for other aspects...such as progression! :)
I wouldn't say I'm hopeless, but I'm not the best. I get satisfaction from playing on the easy settings. DMC, yeah, I sucked at that game. Other games I suck at include Jak 2, (which is weird because I completed the R&C series), and racing games. In particular realistic (vs fantasy/sci-fi/combat) racing games. Sports games as well. Of course, I hardly play, if I play at all, the latter two so that makes sense. Sports games just don't interest me. I can complete games without cheats, it just takes me a few more runs and more practice then I think it would take really good players.Yep,I´m hopless...when it comes to games like DMC I´m totally hopless...

I don't play RPG or strategy games.
I am okay at shooters
Good at racers
Average at adventure/platforming games
Well, it depends on the game. Games which were designed to be impossible to beat. Like in GTA San Andreas, the remote controlled airplane mission and the Assassination mission in Manhunt 2. You will need to repeat the game until you shall eventually finish it. Fighting games and RPG are easier for me to beat.
