Are you normally on top or on the bottom?

When playing games online, where do you normally stand on the online leaderboards??

I'm normally on the bottom unless I get really crazy about the game, then I'm usually on top with the really pro players.

I don't play online as much asI would like to. I can anytime but it is kind of discouraging when you know you'll never be that far on top. I mean by the time I get the game there is usually a pretty established leaderboard so I just play for the fun of it and that's it.

In kills top, in points bottom normally, but it depends on the game. I suck at CSS so I'm normally a the bottem, but I'm good at TF2 so top.

So i guess nobody here is on top all the time.....:P

Mid - Top

I'm usually in the top few on the scoreboards of whatever shooter I'm playing. I'm not really sure why, especially when I've never played anything more than casually and have never been in a clan, but there you go.

The same isn't true in real li- wait, no, I won't even go there.:P

in battlefield bad company i basically kick butt, i already reached general so im good been first in the points in games a dozen times or more

Above middle, Since I have so much free time, but not the top rankers ,not one of the serious players... I guess ones ranking in reality reflects the time spend on games, I usually get good points, but Im opten surprised with my own ranking, compared to how good I feel I am myself (as in I dont consider me good at all, and often see people who play better)

I can be pretty close to the top in arcade racing games, as that's really my genre. With shooters it depends. I'm above average, that's for sure, but I'm just not the strafe-jumping nerd who spends all of his spare time memorising levels and exploiting glitches.

It all comes down to that I can learn how to play a game extremely fast, but I will reach the top of my abilities soon enough.

I wonder if the people at gamespot are usually on top, or on the bottom.....

On Bad Company 2 I'm almost always on the top three per match, if not the very top.

Unfortunately I don't get much time to play the game, so in the sense of world leaderboards I'm around the upper-middle.

if your talkin for the match....then im usually top 5 or so.....and if not there its cause i joined late but my squad(bfbc2) was the best.....and sometimes i can be the top player on my team and not even be top 5......lol

In FPS I'm usually in the top 3 of a round, at least on PS3 (on the PC I'm in the middle at best. Can't handle mouse and keyboard that well). In other genres I mostly sit at the better ranks of the middle class players.

But the big leaderboards: Never saw the top. But I don't really care because usually the one with the longest play time sits on top. Tells barely anything about skill.

Leaderboard wise, in COD4, I had like 200,000 kills and it placed me in the top 10,000

In MW2, I currently have mid 90,000. And im in the top 30,000 I think.

i used to be a competitive gamer so if I get a game and I enjoy it i'll stay at the top til I run into a period of time where I can't get on. I've been recognized cause of my leaderboard placing before..usually only in beginning though.
