Assassins Creed Revelations way better than Brotherhood.

I love the concept from Assassins games...But I never has been able to enjoy them for its terrible AI, and uneven main and side quests. AC II was great but still unpolished, Brotherhood had probably the better setting of all them, but was an unfocused messs with a lot, a massive alot of filler.

I'm happy I didn't give up and I just bought Revelations. It's a much focused, compact experience. The story maybe is not that "complex", but it has a better narrative. The Enemies are a little bit more challenging. The main quest is more varied, with some nice moments and spectacular interactive set action pieces. The tower defense and Desmond portal parts, are flawed, but with interesting concepts that makes things not as repetitive than in previos games.
And then...Jesper Kyd and Lorne Balfe score...

Anyone with me here?

Neither were great but I found Brotherhood way more interesting and fun - calling in assassins for example.

I agree. Revelations is the best damned AC game I ever played. It has an awesome narrative, good combat and an excellent city in Constantinople - which is just plain gorgeous to look at. It is a fond farewell to the series protagonists.

As for the rest I have only played from AC2 through to AC3. The next AC game I'll be playing is black flag.

My first experience with AC has been Origins, with very brief moments watching my son play Revelations. I’m on my second play through of Origins, it’s been so positive an experience I’m scared to move on lol.

Only played AC2 and AC Brotherhood. Preferred Brotherhood more than its predecessor since it was a great upgrade and enjoyed playing hide and seek multiplayer. Sadly, I never got the chance to play Revelations due to education. As time went on I drifted away from the AC series. I noticed AC Revelations was ported to PS4 a few years back, but work-life fills up a lot of my day, that I can't be bothered reading up the storyline and finish off the Ezio saga. I probably should do it at some point this year.
