Badly Reviwed Games That YOU LIKE!!!

There are so many that I can't even remember them all!!!

To start off,.. I am playing SUPERMAN RETURNS on XBOX 360,..... and I really like it,... I am playing that and GEARS OF WAR at the moment,... hows that for 2 ends of the spectrum!!!!

So what about you guys??!!!

I jest, I jest, but really... hmm... I haven't really enjoyed a poorly rated game since the Nintendo 64 days. Games like Cruisin' USA and Bomberman 64 1 and 2 got a lot of playtime from me and are probably the two best examples of games I really liked that totally sucked.

Umm, Even though Bioshock was rated a 9, Alot of people think "WTF 9?!?! It has a short campaign and no live play!!!!111"
True...but the single player campaign is simpley amazing, great voices, story, graphics.
Dont judge a game buy what features it doesnt have...judge it buy what it does have. And what Bioshock has is simply amazing.lilhomes

Dude, I think you're posting in the wrong topic...

Actually, I think most of the people had complaints ABOUT the campaign. Difficulty was nonexistant, the AI was dumb, and the combat feels like it came out of a mediocre 90's shooter. Bioshock is all about the presentation, so if you aren't that impressed by how everything looks or how the plot develops, there aren't any other redeeming qualities.

If you look at SUPERMAN RETURNS as an old shcool beat em up,.. mixed with an old school shoot em up,... its actualluy very enjoyable,... and the flying isgreat,...... I think game its far better than SPIDREMAN 3. Right now I've left SUPES hovering high above Metropolis high in the sky,... it looks amazing with him just hovering there, and the camera panning around him,.. well, it does on the 360 anyway!!!

I always liked DRIVER3 as well,... I found it a good laugh,... and BOMBERMAN 3D,.... very good!!!!

I agree about CRUISIN USA,... my college mates and I spent so much money on the arcade machine!!!

BACK TO THE FUTURE II on the SNES,.... it was a crazy japanese hoverboard game,.. and it rocked!!!

Baten Kaitos: Origins. 7.5

Do not pay one bit of attention to the review cause it is so wrong. Except for the music, this game was superior to its predecessor in every way. It had a better story, better characters, better voice overs (thank god), and better and faster gameplay than Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings (8.5), but for some reason it scores a whole pt lower.

IMO, both games in the franchise are the most underappreciated RPGs of last generation. They have execellent gameplay, good stories, beautiful graphics, some of the best plot twists ever, and killer soundtracks.

If you like JRPGs, you should definitely give them a try. Here are the Intros to both games

JERICHO! I absolutely love this game. I don't know why it's been getting creamed in reviews.

Need for Speed: Carbon (7.5)... a lot of people have trashed the game... or maybe because I haven't played Most Wanted... anyway I found the game exciting and well crafted.

And yes... Haunting Grounds for sure!

Fighting Force for the PS1 = 5.3

Find my review on the game saying as to why this game deserved at least in the high 7s.

I must have completed this game a good 25 times or more... ON HARD. I would play this game over and over again sequentially with a friend for each Thanksgiving Break and Christmas break (we went to a boarding school, and he couldn't go home to China). Man, this was the first and ONLY good 3D beatemup. Too bad they butchered Fighting Force 2 into some Tomb Raider type crap.

Where have all the good beatemups gone?

Someone already said this, but I completely agree; Ghost Recon (PS2) - 5.5

I absolutely loved this game and bought it for the PS2, even though I owned it for the PC. You could pick between different soldiers and switch between teammates. It was tactical gameplay at it's finest.

Wild 9 - For the PS1. An absoloutey amazingly enjoyable platform game, completed it so many times.

KKND - It was a C&C rip off, through and through. But back in the day it was amazing.

Unreal - I remember people saying how disappointing this game was, but it's possibly my all-time favourite FPS. The atmosphere, the range of enviroments, the music, the weapons. Always takes my breath away.

Zone of the Enders 2 2nd Runner....It wasn't rated above a 9 GS!!!

DMC3...Again...Where is my 9!!!

For the most part the Dynasty Warriors series is the cut of the cake for this.

Test drive unlimited. This wasn't reviewed badly as such, but not brilliantly either.

On the flip side, the highest rated game that I thought was rubbish was GRAW (1st one, I liked the 2nd one)

Always kind of made me giggle. So God of War gets a 9.3 or something...No mention on how short it is(About the same time as Zone of the Enders 2) While ZOE2 they mention it is on the short end. Unjust!!! And Don't even get me started on gameplay. And God of War gets a tad bit button mashy? its about as deep as a dynasty warriors game:evil:

Completely disagree about GoW, it's the only action game of it's ilk that doesn't focus exclusively on combat, and thus it makes for a richer experience than most similar titles IMO.

Completely agree on Zone of the Enders 2. Stupendous game, especially at the time it was released.
