Hi, I'm always stirring up discussions on these forums, but this time I actually need some advice/help.

I just recently bought BF:BC2 on the XBL marketplace because I'm bored with Black Ops, I throw up every time I think about MW3, and I don't feel like dishing the cash for BF3 cause I plan on getting it for PC once I get my rig built.

After my purchase I found out about the VIP pass, which my money apparently didn't pay for. Anyone know a good way around having to dish out more cash just to get all of the maps this game includes? I find it kind of silly that I only get 4 maps for rush and 4 maps for conquest, when anyone who bought the game "new", which i technically did, has like 12 maps of each.

Also, as a general note, is it worth paying the full price 800 MS points to get it (if I have to)? I assume there is still a healthy amount of people playing the multiplayer, and that it's not a pain in the ass to find a game.

Lastly, I played about 2-3 hours of BF last night, and the ONLY map I got placed in was White Pass Conquest. Is there any reason there aren't any other maps that I'm getting thrown into?

I'm looking for any advice people might have, as well as personal opinions on what you think of the game (Xbox 360 version only, please).

Game is pretty good, especially for 20 $. Good Campaign, great multiplayer (not to the level of BF3, imo, but at the time it was excellent) . As for the VIP Pass, I think it's worth it. There were 7 map packs (smaller than your average COD map Packs) if I recall. Since BF3 is out, it will be a bit hard to find a match, which is why i reccomend you buy the VIP Pass, since you then have more potential matches. This is coming from a PS3 player Hope you like the game.

For me bad companay 2 was the first game that change my prepective on fps of having variety and types of gameplay so ya.. its totally worth it considerign the price... I personally think that the battlefield field series doesnt need a lot of map like cod etc becasue the one map itself is big and excitng enough to keep the player interested..... and if you consider the map then 1 BF map = 5 - 6 cod map.... i dont know how the map selectiong work but if you do want to play on different maps then just exit the lobby and do it manually..... hope this helps....

There's barely anyone playing the game on xbox live anymore, you'll be hard pressed to find a full server and will often be dropped in empty ones. I say save your money

Yet another console-exclusive feature...

For PC, the only paid DLC was Vietnam.

Well, this one was free if you bought the game when it came out. It was basically a one-time use activation code, which all the big companies seem to be doing nowadays to drag us over the coals some more.

I did play some more of the game over the past few days and its really fun. The maps are huge, so its not terrible only having the maps that I have, but if I start getting a little bored of it, I know it's just another 10 bucks if I want some more variety.
