i just beat fallout new vegas on hardcore and didnt get my "Special Reward" but got the achievment. after beating the all or nothing quest u see the end credits then continue ur game u go right back to ur last save and for me that was when i killed general oliver of ncr then i talk to mr house and everytime i load my game i start there does this happen to everyone
I think thats pretty much it. Theres a mod for the PC version that will allow you to play after you beat it (although theres no actual new content afterwards).
