Best and worst of need for speed

Best I'd have to say Need for Speed Underground 2..

Worse, I'd probably have to say Need for Speed Most Wanted.. the original one for PC. That game was pretty sad LOL

My favorites have been Need for Speed Most Wanted for the PC and Hot Pursuit 2 for the PS2.

What's really interesting is the variation in opinions in this poll. For such a vaunted series that has been so prolific and ranged its format, I guess different versions will appeal to a lot of different kind of people.

It's also interesting since I am starting my 2009 gaming by playing through as many versions of the series as I have. I've put about three hours each into Porsche Unleashed and the first Underground on the PC. Tomorrow, I am planning on spending time in Most Wanted on the PC and Carbon on the PS3. I've got some issues with Carbon, but it has the one element that I always prefer to see in NFS titles...cops and chases. Seems like, with the exception of Porsche Unleashed, the versions that do not have them are the ones that I am lukewarm on.
