So whats yours? One of my all time favorites is from Mushihimesama on the PS2, simply awesome.

It's really difficult to choose just one composition since there are so many that exist that are great. Although I wouldn't rank this as the best EVER, as I really do like the Super Mario Galaxy 2 link, but it's definitely one of the greatest I've heard for quite a while.

"A Mighty Enemy Appears"- Lost Odyssey by Nobuo Uematsu. Lost Odyssey is definitely one of Uematsu's greatest composed soundtracks even if the storyline isn't that great.

The Kirby boss music is my favorite, unless you count Star Wolf as a boss.

The FFVII soundtrack is hit and miss, its far from Uetmasu's best work, however there are standouts...J-E-N-O-V-A is one of them, Aeris's Theme is the other (and its a boss battle theme too, plays during Jenova Life battle).

FFVII boss music. By far the best boss music I have ever come across in games. Everytime I hear it I feel like playing through the whole game again.
