Best console fight

So, which console duel do you find the best?

Only duels count so no three or more consoles.

If your fave duel (DC vs PS2, PS2 vs GC, ect.) is not on the list vote "other" and mention separately.

Current-gen consoles don't count either (for obvious reasons).

I vote for SNES vs Genesis/MD.

SNES vs Genesis

Had everything from players laying into each other to advertising campaigns that fuelled the fire (Genesis does, What Nintendon't)

360 vs. PS3 has been a lot of fun, but I dunno. I was barely alive when the other wars on the list started.

I vote Ps1 vs. N64. I constantly see polls debating the superior console

Genesis/SNES

Most of the other console fights ive seen ended up being pretty one sided,

Like the Dreamcast vs the PS2, or the PS1 vs the saturn.

THis is the closest I think, with SNES vs Genesis being 2nd. Least close for me is probably N64 vs PS1.

I think DC vs PS2 was a pretty short story as the DC was discontinued when the PS2 launched in most "developed" countries.
