I've never played one Final Fantasy game ever and after hearing so much about it I decided to start playing some of them. Out of the GBA, DS, PS2, and Wii, what is your favorite Final Fantasy?

imo FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, and FFX are the best ones. my personal favorite is FFX

FF6 is pretty much the best one but $20 is way more than you should be paying for a SNES port in this day and age, which is kind of a bummer. Square is remaking the older FFs for the DS FFIV on the way which is cool because I haven't played that one, so you're probably going to be better off waiting for a remake of 6. If you haven't played any so far go pick up FFX its probably the best that you can pick up easily and shouldn't be too expensive now. But as a warning if you don't like cheesy romantic stuff in it you might want to just play IX or XII. IX is more like the the rest of the Final Fantasy games whereas XII is pretty much the one thats furthest away from the FF mould so it really depends on what you want.

Final Fantasy VI is, without a doubt, the best everfs_metal

I can't really say out of those four consoles, but I will say the first Final Fantasy was my favorite. I loved the 2-D world. I love all 2-D RPGs (I usually can't stand them in 3-D).

After you try one of those games, you should get Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1. It's a great strategy RPG, although it can get pretty challenging sometimes.
