Best game ever you ever played

Heroes of Might and Magic III : complete edition. this game has good staying power with me.

A tie between Super Metroid, MGS2, Ninja Gaiden and Half-Life 2. I can't choose.

{Mind is in turmoil, cannot decide which game is the best} ........hmmm.......Majesty: the fantasy Kingdom Sim,Dungeon Keeper 2.

Oblivion was good too....Morrowind was better though.........uh.....Halo 2 aswell........probably Majesty or Dungeon Keeper 2 

I would have to say Guitar Hero 1. Final Fantasy 10 and 12 come in close second and third.

Damn...can't narrow it down from Shadows of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Ocarina of Time, and Streets of Rage(this game had probably the best damn soundtrack ever)

Yeah but admins don't like "What's better?" , "What's the best?" or "This thing s*cks" kinds of topics. They used to lock these up quickly.

Gunstar Heroes. Awesome 2D shooter with some brawling aspects, frantic yet highly enjoyable gameplay, complex yet intuitive weapon system, excellent music. Though many 'better' games than it have been released, very, very few other action games have managed to draw me back to them time and time again for just one more 'fix'. I would seriously have beaten it close to 100 times (only a few on Expert though :P), and I'm still not sick of it.

As for recent though? Tie between MGS3, DMC3, RE4, God Hand, Okami and Psychonauts. Too hard for me to pick just one.

You cannot be serious.  DK2 was obviously the best in the series.  Anyway, the best game I ever played was GoldenEye 007.
