Best game for sniping

I love FPS games but my main reason for this is long distance sniping segments. I want to know what you guys think has this best experience.I was looking at videos of Operation Flashpoint and it seems to have some good sniping in it. And don't say Sniper:ghost warrior because that game is fail.

i suppose of the games i've played i like the sniping in bad company the best.

arma II and OPFP2:DR would probably be the ones worth noting but that being said their not realistic at all and the only tru 100% sniping game recently has been ghost warrior.

going back further you have sniper: art of victory which is terrible as well.

there has NEVER been a good sniping sim.. ever and i doubt there will ever be.. as camping = nubdom

Sniper Elite, if you don't mind an older game. Its also 3rd person, not 1st.

I love Sniper Classes as well. As far as gaming, the best mix of playability and realism I've come across is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The sniper class is well flushed out and fun to play, as well as requiring alot of technical skills for truly long-range shots.

But then again, that class is only available multiplayer.
