i need to know what game magazine to get i used to get playstation and egm but i want to know is there a better one? what is the best gaming magazine available right now!??? thx
Isnt squeezing something out of your butt or peehole enough entertainment?? I think a poll said about 40% of people read mags while taking a dump. I like to think about stuff I dont have the time to think about any other time. I think some peoples brains are easy to stimulate and others take more work. Non mag readers = more easy to stimulate.
That is an oxymoron. There are no good magazines anymore. I would say EGM though. They used to be better than the internet on coverage and whatnot but now they are crap. I still get it every month but there is less and less good stuff in it all the time. I would only get a magazine if you need to know as much about games as possible and if you did get a mag then make it EGM. Otherwise stick with the internet.

gameinformer is the best
I agree, although I do think that EGM is still a good magazine as well. I just find Game Informer's reviews to be very reasonable and unbiased.
Edge, they are often harsh with reviews but I like that it shows there not fanboys of a particular console, so when they review a game and it gets a good score from them then you know the games good.
Game Informer is the best multi-platform mag and their features are generally quite fun to read. EGM is alright but generally lacks content and their reviews can sometimes be very small for big name games.
Is Gamepro still around? I know they had awesome magazines years ago. Most recently I've gotten both EGM and Gameinformer though. But there's also the official PS magazine and the 360 one and Nintendo Power.
EGM in the 90's and early 2000's was beastly. After that, I switched to GMR, but then they went under. GMR was really good...too bad they aren't around anymore.
Game Informer. I tend to stick away from console-related magazines(OXM, OPM, or Nintendo Power), because sometimes they are too biased, and I'd like a magazine that covers all consoles.
