It almost seems like Red Dead has this on the bag

Im wondering if Call of Duty will win October sales though. Red comes out in the last week, Call of duty second week. But Red Dead will win November.

@blackballs: Hmm, didn't know it was end of the month. Call of Duty probably takes October then for worldwide sales, may be more hit and miss however with the game being an online only experience, and previously entries had more overall content.

I think a lot of people are still annoyed they're ditching features and charging people the same price. While still charging for map packs ontop the already overpriced product.

Review and praise however, Rockstar have this in my view. They're a consistently well received developer. And though it's not my kind of gaming experience, I admire what I've seen and hope it lives up to the hype for fans. Followed by Forza Horizon 4, which again I assume will be well received/ deserving of praise.

My vote goes for Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m also very hyped for Forza Horizon 4 and Soul Calibur 6 as well as really looking forward to Super Mario Party and Mega Man 11.

Don't know yet, haven't played them...

But I have a feeling it'll be between RDR 2 & Forza Horizon 4.

RDR2, AC Odyssey, and FH4 will all be in the running for me. It's going to be a great month regardless.

Obviously, it's going to be red dead 2. This is a no brainer.

AC: Odyssey, I guess. I've enjoyed every AC game, some more than others, so I think I will enjoy this one.

I'm sure there are a few not on that list I want, but just don't know about haha

On that list I'm only getting RDR2 and AC-Oddyssey. I think RDR2 will be the best game this month. Rockstar has yet to disappoint me.

I honestly wonder why people still play COD the series was never good in my opinion.

Soulcalibur 6 because Geralt of Rivia is in it.

For me personally? I'm most looking forward to Super Mario Party and expect that will be the October game that I have the most fun with. I'm a huge fan of the old Mario Party games and it's been over a decade too long since we have had a good one because of that damn stupid car that ruined the series. This game looks like it is set to finally bring back the classic Mario Party fun and I can't wait to play it with friends!

I'm also looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Mega Man 11. This is looking to be the best month for games for me in a very long time.

Red Dead Redemption 2. I've been waiting for it for a long time. Also amped for Soul Calibur VI since you can play as Geralt of Rivia

Red dead 2 but getting excited for AC like the direction the series is heading.

yeah, other. I mean, i'll enjoy watching my favorite streamers play Blackout and maybe I'll pick up AC on the cheap just to see if the series is worth playing now that they've changed things up a bit. But, I'm really looking forward to the Breach beta in mid October and the Fallout 76 beta later in the month.

Yeah FH4 is pretty damn epic... it's definitely leading my list for GOTY so far. Could be the best racer ever made.

It's sad that most gaming media outlets almost certainly won't include it in their GOTY nominees, because it's not a 3rd person action/adventure game with a million cutscenes.

preference for COD because the aspect of pvp and esport is stronger in a long term. if the game is competitve then it will bring people.

But come on, who cares what (GS for example) gives GotY? They tend to ignore many great games. It's common practice for media sites to prioritise focus on advertising deals, and that means praise what's most trending in the sites main region.

This is the same site that shitted on D00M IV while praising Fallout 4 as the second coming of Jesus. And ignored Monster Hunter till an instalment sold so well they couldn't any longer.

I understand your frustration but complaining about your preference being ignored isn't worth it. Better to just spread the good word on great games while letting others enjoy what they enjoy.

And this is the reason why I only come to the forums. I see gamers talking about different games that GS wouldn't bother to mention, sometimes, spreading the word out helps on the forums then relying on major gaming sites that won't mention a game that isn't popular and RDR2 isn't on my radar until the PC is announced that is.

Forza Horizon 4 is by far the fun racing game I enjoy in a long time and I prefer the Mario Kart series, Forza Horizon 4 is proving to be a good racing game beyond my expectations.

Same thing honestly, even if it's games not of my preference or ever-considered-radar. I love to read peoples reasons and experiences. Those that value games with detailed and passionate opinions is why I go on Gaming Forums to begin with.
