The most criminally underplayed game on the XBOX was Psychonauts. What was it on the N64?

Pretty much all the good games on the N64 were played becuz the N64 didn't have nearly as many good games as the ps1.
Actually you made me think of one game that is super that you may not have played and its the best racing game on the N64 by leaps and bounds. Star Wars Episode 1 racer.
Some other good games are mario 64, zelda, wave race 64
In my opinion this is actually the opposite of the truth, the N64 library is weird because many of its good games are virtually unknown, I think that most of the library just couldn't get out of Ocarina/Mario 64/Mario Kart/Golden Eye's huge shadow, those games were so big that they stole the limelight from everything else.Pretty much all the good games on the N64 were played becuz the N64 didn't have nearly as many good games as the ps1.

Some games that I like on N64 (though are not necessarily amazing) are -
Mischief Makers
Mystical Ninja
the aforementioned Operation Winback, Blast Corps and Snowboard Kids
Extreme G
Body Harvest
Buck Bumble
Bangai-O
Rocket Robot on Wheels
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
Space Station Silicon Valley
Rogue Squadron
Wetrix
Glover and Shadowman (though there may be a reason why these two are unknown, they may be getting bad press due to theirterrible PS1 versions)

agreed. It had a good amount of niche/ unknown titles that were great.People hate Yoshi Story, but it's not that bad.get-ka12
Yoshis story was one of my favorite games as a kid, actually its was like the 5th video game I have ever owned!
N64 was my first system and it took me like a year to get!
That being said, while I spent countless hours playing that game as a kid I just realised its one of the VERY few N64 games that I have never gone back an replayed all these years later!
Gamespot's review does a good job summing up my relationship with that game:
[Joe Fielder of GameSpot noted that Yoshi's Story "was obviously designed so that younger players could play through quickly and feel some sense of accomplishment"]
