There are some good non-Saturn games with near perfect soundtracks. I'm sure you've played Sonic3&Knuckles.

Tales of Symphonia has a great, epic soundtrack.

Actually, all the "Tales" games I've played have great music. I'm playing Tales of the Abyss and so far, 24 hours in it also has really good music.

I really like FF and MGS soundtracks they are really the only one where i can hum tunes from the top of my head

Have to agree with everyone who mentioned Brawl - was a joy to listen to (outside of Subspace Emissary)
