Best games for XBOX local multiplayer

I just got an original xbox and need some games to play with friends the old fashion way: multiple controllers on the same system on the same couch.

I know about halo, but what other games are fun when played with a friend or two?

hmm well i know that halo was awesome and still is on the 360, but i think the tom clancy games had multiplayer. they might be pretty good.
