So i often find myself at a loss when it comes to finding games from the past 10 years that i would want to replay or maybe some that i had missed completely, let me know what games you enjoyed/still enjoy!

For me it's The Last of Us, Dark Souls, Red Dead Redemption, BioShock (Infinite), Uncharted, and Portal
Half-Life 2, Bioshock, Mass Effect series, Bioshock Infinite, Portal 2, Red Dead Redemption, Last of Us, GTA San Andreas... to name a few.
My favourites on a year-by-year basis:
2004 - Clannad
2005 - Resident Evil 4
2006 - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
2007 - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
2008 - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
2009 - Steins Gate
2010 - Xenoblade Chronicles
2011 - The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
2012 - Far Cry 3
2013 - BioShock Infinite

Start from here and go through the list to 2014. It has most of the major game releases throughout the years. There are too many to mention.
@Minishdriveby: Thank you :) ill check it out! also, bioshock seems to be a recurring one, ill check it out again!
Bioshock is definitely up there. In the large gaming community, I feel like it's treated as highly as Watchmen is to comics and Fight Club is to books and movies as it both is fun all the way through and simultaneously discusses philosophical topics about society and more importantly people.
The Last of Us was not the first game to have fundamentally great characters and stories, but I feel like it's the first in this generation that everyone knows about and appreciates because of it. Like how Final Fantasy 7 did back during the PS1 days, GTA 3 during the PS2 , and Halo:Combat Evolved on Xbox. Almost everyone appreciated those games and that's true for The Last of Us as well nowadays.
But like @Minishdriveby said, there just too many games to list of and many of those games I haven't played. So no full opinions as of yet.
-Bayonetta
-Vanquish
-Anarchy Reigns
-The Wonderful 101
-Metal Gear Rising
-Deadly Premonition
-Super Mario 3D World
-Demon's Souls
-Dark Souls
-El Shaddai
-Resident Evil 4
By the way, All of the Bioshock games, everything by Rockstar, and The Last of Us are all shit. Don't play them. They all have incredibly mindless, tedious, uninteresting gameplay, and narratives that in no way make up for how agonizing they are to play. The best way to experience them would be to simply watch a Let's Play, ideally one that edits out the majority of the gameplay.
@thatdudecangame: A couple from the earlier side of the decade that I recommend would be:
Killer 7
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath
Okami
Little King's Story
By year approach seems good:
2003. - Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
2004. - World of Warcraft
2005. - Resident Evil 4
2006. - Gears of War
2007. - God of War 2
2008. - Fallout 3
2009. - Trine
2010. - Red Dead Redemption
2011. - Driver San Francisco
2012. - Spec Ops: The Line
2013. - Volgarr the Viking
Oh, I forgot to mention a few games, since I decided to shorten the decade in my mind XD
- Okami
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (2004 release, so it just makes the mark)
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Super Mario Galaxy
- The entire God of War series, minus Ascension
- Batman: Arkham Asylum/City
- Spec Ops: The Line

You and me both. I really liked Watch Dogs, but I'm not sure about best game of the decade yet. Maybe after I play it more, but for now I just see it as a great sandbox game with a new, innovative way of interacting with the world.
