Best graphics of each generation?

Well for the PS1/N64 probably Metal Gear Solid, Einhander, FF VIII and IX, OOT, Konker, Goldeneye, Super Mario 64.

For the XBOX, GC, and PS2 era its Metal Gear Solid 3, God of War 2, Gran Turismo 4, BLACK, Halo 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil remakes for GC.

Fifth generation- Metal Gear Solid

Sixth generation - Doom 3

Seventh generation - Crysis Warhead

I own Crysis and i know which has better graphics as do the people of Gamespot including the editors. Metal Gear Solid 4 > Crysis.

What ever you say MGS 4 cutscenes are realtime and are on par with Crysis and for Crysis to have a chance you need a good comp because medium settings don't cut it and no AA is a shame so your looking at around $1000 vs. a $400 PS3.

First off dont give me the " You need an £x pc to run crysis" thing, this is about gfx not cost. And i own both and i can easily say crysis is better looking than MGS4. Dont get me wrong MGS4 is amazing it's a great game and its got great gfx, but it doesn't have better gfx than crysis and this is all what the thread is about

Well for the SNES era I say Star Fox, since it was 3-D. PS1/N64/Dreamcast goes to Final Fantasy IX for the Cinematics, but in-game goes to Chrono Cross I say.
PS2/XB/GC goes to Final Fantasy XII or MGS, Latest Generation goes to Crysis.
For Handhelds, GB- Pokemon red/blue.
GBA- Boktai, Golden Sun 1&2.

DS/PSP- Final Fantasy VII:Crisis Core.

N64/PSOne=Banjo Tooie,Zelda MM

GC/PS2/XBOX=Resi 4 GC,Okami,Ninja Gaiden

Wii,PS3,360=Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts,Killzone 2

3rd gen - Super Mario Bros 3

4th gen - Super Mario RPG

Nintendo fan much? Resident Evil 4 isn't the best looking game. I think God of War 2 looks better and the Resident Evil remakes also look way better but there environments are pre-rendered but they still look better.

seriously, kz2 for best ps3 graphics? it's not even out yet. sure the demo is out, but we still have no idea what the entire game will look like. jmo. MGS4 graphics ftw followed by Uncharted.
