Best horror game out there?

There's not much being shown about horrors games recently to what ive heard of. Whether people are getting sick of it or theres just too many fails like alien vs predator or fear 2, i'd like to know if theres a good scary game i can wet my pants from. Please suggest.

There are a few threads regarding the horror gaming genre and actual scary games vs one's that fall into the category but aren't scary.

Anyway I'd go with the early Resident Evil games if you have an old enough system.

Failing that some of the best horror games IMO would be:

• Clocktower
• Doom 3
• Suffering
• Eternal Darkness
• FEAR
• Condemned
• Fatal Frame 2

and, of course, Silent Hill :)
